Hout Bay & Seal Island Boat Trip

Hout Bay is a small Fishing Village, known as the 'Republic of Hout Bay' by the locals. There are great restaurants for you to choose from with fresh Fish to tantalise your taste buds. Lots of local market stalls located inside the harbour for you to enjoy. You have the option of going on a Seal Island Boat Trip which takes about an hour.

Simon's Town and Boulders Beach African Penguin Colony

Simon's Town is the heart of the South African Navy. A historical Town dating back to Simon Van Der Stel. Also home to the African Penguin that's endemic to the South African Coast Line. Boulders Beach is also a great opportunity to swim with these beautiful little creatures.

Cape Point

The most South Western Point of the African Continent. Often mistaken for the most Southern Point of the African Continent. The pinnacle of the famous spice route. Where Bartolomeu Dias and Vasco Da Gama competed to be the 1st to make a complete trip to India via the Cape Of Good Hope. This beautiful Nature Reserve is a must to visit with Cape Peninsula infamous Fynbos Fauna and Flora to view. Fynbos is also endemic to the Western Cape.

Kalk Bay

Kalk Bay is another fishing village that's bustling with activity with fish merchants selling their catch of the day. You can meet Rossi the famous Seal that entertains many a tourist. Lots of boutique shops to take a peak at and many restaurants and dishes to enjoy in Kalk Bay. A beautiful little town where I spent a few years in Primary School here. Where my dad would take me fishing for 'Klip Vissies' (Rock Fish) in the many rock pools.

Muizenberg

This little surfing village is the hub of all surfers learning to surf. A beautiful town with lots of history going back to the 'Battle of Muizenberg' in 1795 between the British and the Cape Dutch Colony where the British took control of much of South Africa. A great vibe with the surfing community filling the restaurants and surf shops as they head for a surf or just enjoy each others company.
